Tuesday October 23rd 1906 Got my work done early. Lorie & Hattie came at 9.35. Hattie was not well. Will took her home soon after dinner. Lorie went at 2.30. I sewed some. read in evening. Wednesday October 24th 1906 I had cleaning to do, put up pears and got dinner. The boys built fence near the hog house. I was sewing some on a skirt for Mother. They had the doctors for Hattie. Thursday October 25th 1906 I was busy most of the forenoon with the work. Charlie Wadsworth who used to work for Uncle Jacob here awhile. I got dinner over so I went down home at 1.30. Hattie feels better and we hear Tishie Hedges is better too. I rode to town with Lorie & Frank Hutchinson. Did the evening work and sewed a little. A long letter from Lorie. Friday October 26th 1906 I put up the last of the pears. Got the dinner and did the regular work. I finished Mothers skirt in afternoon. Hattie better. Lorie started west. Will finished working out road tax. Wrote in evening. Saturday October 27th 1906 I was busy all forenoon with the regular work. Will went to town in afternoon. I took bath, ironed Mothers skirt, and did some dusting. I looked for Alma but she did not come. Sent work to look for her tomorrow. I read some in evening.
