Friday November 16th 1906 Will let Tom drive with the chickens and he went on car. Will found the team tied down in Coralville after he got back. Tom did not work today. My chickens brought $12.70. I sewed all my spare time on my waist. Saturday November 17th 1906 I did not have very much cooking to do so sewed on my waist. I got it nearly done. The boys busy about the place. Will went to town in afternoon. I read in evening. It was bright today after a little rain last night. Sunday November 18th 1906 I was busy all forenoon with neglected house-work of yesterday. I had early dinner and went down home at 12.37. Otts folks are taking their meals there. i came back at 4.15. Old Tom did not come home for supper. I wrote a long letter to Lydia in evening. weather cold and damp. Monday November 19th 1906 I don't feel well. Am chilly and have taken a cold. I worked all the spare time I had on my brown silk waist and finished it. weather some what pleasanter today. I doctored up and went to bed early. I received a letter I had mis-directed to Sister Ida. I wrote more to it and sent it along. Old Tom quit work today.
