Tuesday July 15th 1902 I got Clarence to help me churn and wash in the forenoon and he did some work in the garden. I took a nap in the afternoon and did the mending. Weather warm and boys at the hay. Wednesday July 16th 1902 I did ironing and bread baking this morning besides the regular work. Clarence worked in the garden for me all morning and in the afternoon went to town with me. We stopped at home a few moments. a hot wind blowing. Thursday July 17th 1902 I was busy with the work most of the forenoon and sewed in the afternoon. The men were driven from the hay field by a hard rain about four oclock. Did regular evening work. Friday July 18th 1902 Will and I here alone. It rained part of the day. He churned for me. I sewed all day when not busy with the house work.
