Saturday July 19th, 1902 I was busy all morning with baking and other Saturday work. We had early dinner and I went as far as home with Will. He went to town. The girls were all at home. I enjoyed my stay. We read all evening. another shower tonight. Sunday July 20th 1902 There is a change in the weather. It is much cooler. I read some in the morning after the work was done. Will went to the pasture and brought Belle & Bess with their colts down home. I read and wrote in the afternoon. I hunted every place in the house for Will's little bible he brought from Ohio with him but did not find it. Monday July 21st 1902 I had help with the churning and washing. I then got up a good dinner. Did up all the work with some sweeping and worked in the garden nearly two hours. Did regular evening work. The men are working with the hay.
