Friday July 25th 1902 I did some work in the yard with the chicken coops and got the dinner. I did sweeping up stairs and gave it a good cleaning up in the afternoon. I had two extra men for two meals Saturday July 26th 1902 I hurried through my work and went down town. I was back at half past nine to get at the dinner. I had three men extra for two meals. They got the hay all in (16 1/2 loads) and all the oats shucked that Will has at cut. It looked like rain but did not come all day. I did a little sewing in the afternoon. Sunday July 27th 1902 I was busy all the forenoon as I had some extra wash to do. After an early dinner I went down home alone as I expected to bring Mattie Briggs out with me. She was not there so after waiting awhile I came back alone. Did evening work and to bed
