Monday July 28th, 1902 I hurried through with my work this morning. Mother, Aunt Lydia, and Mattie came out to spend the day. Will is trying to cut oats. He has no help at all. We had a nice visit. Mattie stayed all night. Tuesday July 29th 1902 I did not have a great deal of cooking to do as Will has no help. I did some sewing and visited with Mattie. weather warmer again. Wednesday July 30th 1902 I did not feel very well this morning. Will was going to take Mattie down home but she finally rode with Manly Koser. I did a little baking and in the afternoon slept and sewed a little. This is Ediths birthday. Thursday July 31st 1902. I got Fred Pointer to help me churn. I was busy with the work a great part of the day. Will finished cutting oats. He had men helping.
