Friday August 1st 1902 I had the little boy help me with a big washing in the forenoon and I baked bread. Will went to the valley for my bed stead and some other things we had there. I had the two McGinnis boys for two meals. They finished shucking the oats. I did part of the ironing and worked all day. Saturday August 2nd 1902 I did ironing and some work about the house this morning while Will went to town. We are all done. He went back in the afternoon and I went down home. They are nearly done there. It was terribly hot. We did the evening work and sat on the porch awhile. Sunday August 3rd 1902 I did a little extra work about the house in the morning and wrote some. I read awhile in the afternoon. Will went to the pasture in the morning and slept in afternoon. At five oclock Otts family and Luara Mason came for supper and stayed till dark.
