Monday August 4th 1902 Will did a big churning for me this morning. I did a little sewing and in the afternoon painted the furniture in the little room. Tuesday August 5th 1902 There was a big Wood-man picnic in town and W. J. Bryan was to speak. Will went down in the morning. I did not care to go. I wrote to Flora Culbertson and had dinner ready. He went back in the afternoon. I went as far as home and visited with Mother, Aunt Lydia and Aunt Ellen. Wednesday August 6th 1902. I was very busy all forenoon. I painted the furniture again and got up a nice dinner. I went to town in the afternoon to do shopping. I did not find anyone at home up on the hill and stopped a Mary Woolfs awhile. Thursday August 7th 1902 Will churned for me and I did more
