Monday August 11th 1902 Bob Fachler came this morning to fix my cellar door and do some other work. Will sent a load of oats to town and worked with the hay in the afternoon. I was busy with sewing what time I had Tuesday August 12th 1902 Walter helped the neighbors thresh in the forenoon and in the afternoon helped take Grant Dennis to Mt Pleasant. Will cut hay in the morning and went to town in the afternoon. I took Laura down home in the morning and brought Alice back with me. We visited in the afternoon. I rained in the evening. Wednesday August 13th 1902 There was a terrible rain last night. I was busy with the work all forenoon. I baked an apple cake. I took Alice down in the afternoon and stopped at Woolfs for apples. The boys worked on road in the afternoon
