Sunday August 24th 1902 I read some in the morning after the work was done. A very pleasant day. After dinner I took Laura with her things down home. I did not stay long. I came home. Did the evening work and went to bed early. Monday August 25th 1902 It looked like rain this morning but I took Will down town to start to Delavan. I stopped at home to bid Laura good bye. She goes tomorrow. I got home at ten oclock just as it began to rain. Walter was not here for dinner. I began painting the furniture in Mollies room. Tuesday August 26th 1902 I did more painting in the morning and a lot of other work. I went down town in the afternoon for more paint and other things. Took Fannie a chicken. The P. E. O. party was postponed till tonight them at home. I wrote to Will at night.
