Friday September 26th 1902 I did part of the ironing in the forenoon as fast as the clothes dried. I went to town in the afternoon for groceries. I stopped at home. Aunt Sarah is back from up north. Saturday September 27th 1902 I finished the ironing and some baking in the forenoon. It rained so we could not go to town so I did some sewing. read in evening. Sunday September 28th 1902 I went down home for a ride and to take Fannies butter. Will went as far as Woolfs to get some things I wanted. Will and Mary were out here in the afternoon. There was a man came to work tomorrow. Mollie back tonight. Monday September 29th 1902 I was busy all forenoon with baking and getting dinner. Will dressed a young hog. Got some potatoes digged and gathered a load of corn. Had a break down in the field. I gathered tomatoes in afternoon.
