Tuesday September 30th 1902 I was busy working with the meat all day when not at the regular work. It rained hard last night. They could not dig potatoes. The man cut wood. he was sick and went home tonight. I was so tired I went to bed early. Wednesday October 1st 1902 It was a fine day. Will and I went to town this morning and home in time to get dinner He went back in the afternoon to look for a man and I went as far as home. They are cleaning house. Thursday October 2nd 1902 I fired down sausage this morning and got the dinner. I was busy with work about the house most of the afternoon. I read some. Friday October 3rd 1902 I gave the house a good sweeping in the forenoon. I went to town in the afternoon. I stopped at Marys for apples. Mollie went home. It set to rain at dark. Will at home at work all day.
