Saturday October 4th 1902 It rained the entire day. I work till two oclock making jelly, canning tomatoes, and doing baking. I read and worked on my stand cover till bed-time. Sunday October 5th 1902 We were here alone till evening when Mollie came back. She is not well, has a bad cold. I wrote letters most of the day. Monday October 6th 1902 Will helped me churn the morning and then went to town to look for a hired man. We both went in the afternoon. I was at Dr Deans office to begin treatment for my ears and throat. I met Mother and Hattie and helped them with trading. Tuesday October 7th 1902 It was fine day. Will at home at work all day. I did the washing alone and in the afternoon put away some jelly and did other work about the house. Mollie went to town to stay all night.
