Sunday November 2nd 1902 Will came down early in the forenoon. I ate a little solid food for dinner with much difficulty. I did not sit up any. Mollie here a few moments in the afternoon. Monday November 3rd 1902 I still eat a little but am not able to sit up. The Dr comes twice a day. Fannie was up in the afternoon. Tuesday November 4th 1902 This is election day. It was dark and cloudy and set in to rain at dark. I did not sit up any, the Dr here twice. Hattie went down to Otts to hear election news. She came home after midnight with the word Ott was elected by a good majority. Wednesday November 5th 1902 We were rejoicing over election all day. Fannie was up in the afternoon. I sat up a little while. The Dr here twice.
