Friday December 5th 1902 Ida did ironing this forenoon. I sewed a little and helped with the work. She and I went to town in the afternoon. Was at the Dr office. Had no time to stop at home. Mollie went home tonight. Saturday December 6th 1902 Ida gave the while house a good sweeping. I was busy sewing all day when not helping with the meals. It snowed some. Will took some chickens to town for me today. Sunday December 7th 1902 It was a cold wintry day. I wrote some in the morning and spent the day reading and resting. Mollie came to visit in the evening. Monday December 8th 1902 It was a very cold day. I tried to sew some on a dressing sacque for myself. Mollie took her dinner to school today. Will busy taking care of stock and getting wood.
