Tuesday December 9th 1902 weather a little better. I was sewing all day. I helped catch chickens in the evening. It was four years today since Edith died. Wednesday December 10th 1902 Will took the chickens in before noon and we went in after dinner. I did some shopping and was at the Dr office. Talked with Mollie all evening. Thursday December 11th 1902 Ida did washing and I baked bread and got the dinner. She went down town in the afternoon. I finished my dressing sacque and did mending. Friday December 12th 1902 I was busy about the house part of the forenoon. I cut out a waist for myself. Ida down home in the afternoon. Mollie went to town after school. There is a strong north east wind which threatens snow. It was four years today since we laid Edith in the vault. I had a letter from Ida Cutler.
