Saturday December 20th 1902 It was late when we got up. It rained a great part of the day. We made mince meat and I baked pies in the forenoon and I sewed all afternoon on my dress. I knit in evening. Ida spent her spare time down home. Sunday December 21st 1902 It was pleasanter today. Ida was away most of the day. I read and wrote what spare time I had. Will about house all day. Monday December 22nd 1902 Ida washed in the morning and I got up a good dinner for the men husking corn. We went to town in the afternoon. I saw the Stevens girls and Fannie on the street. I was at the Dr office. Knit all evening. Tuesday December 23rd 1902 The men quit husking at ten oclock it was so stormy. We did ironing and churning. I sewed what time I could. Ida down to the church in evening.
