Wednesday March 10th 1903 It was very warm. Will and the boy put straw in the barn. The boy went away in the afternoon. We were already to start to town, every thing in the buggy, when it began to thunder. It rained so we could not go. Did a lot of work on my rug. Thursday March 19th 1903 Still raining so we could not go to town. I put in a full day at the rug. Mollie was not home for supper. Will sold the hogs and the red bull this afternoon. They go to town tomorrow in a car. It rained very hard in the evening. Friday March 20th 1903 The car came out a little after nine oclock and Will went to town with the stock. I had baking to do this morning. I finished the rug and swept up the rooms down stairs. It was three oclock before I had my work all done. I did a little mending. Will got home at noon. The hogs brought $475.10. The bull $50.250. Mollie went to town.
