Monday May 4th 1903 I washed and ironed some colored clothes today, set hens and worked a little in the garden besides the regular work. Will churned for me. Tuesday May 5th 1903 I was busy around the house most of the morning and just before dinner Father & Mother came. They went home about four oclock and Mollie and I went to town. Bob began painting the house at noon and Jack Pointain came up to fix the refrigerator. Did evening work and went to bed. Wednesday May 6th 1903 It was a fine day. I was sewing when not busy with the necessary work. The men are busy with the farm work. I have Will McGinnis this week. Thursday May 7th 1903 I did some sewing today when not busy with the work. Mollie and I went to town after school. It is Wills birthday. He was very tired tonight. he had such a hard day taking care of little pigs. I wrote to Ida Cutler.
