Monday May 11th 1903 Will began to plant corn today. I did a lot of baking and work about the house in the afternoon and sewed in the afternoon. Tuesday May 12th 1903 It is seventeen years today since we were married. Mollie helped me cut the waist to my dress before school. I sewed on it some during the day. We went down town after school. Mother is not well. Wednesday May 13th 1903 I put in a very busy forenoon with the cooking and looking after little chickens. I caught a ride down home with Mrs Koser to spend the afternoon with Mother. She is feeling some better. Hattie is busy with the P. E. O. convention. Thursday May 14th 1903 I had churning besides the regular work so did not get to sew much. Mollie worked before school. I sewed some in the afternoon. I looked after my little chickens. Mollie spent the evening away from home.
