Monday May 18th 1903 I was nearly the entire day giving the house a good sweeping and dusting aside from doing the work and setting some some more hens. Will planting corn. Tuesday May 1st 1903 I got Will McGinnis to help me till noon. He churned and did a big washing for me and quite a lot of work in the garden. I was very busy till four oclock when Mollie and I went to town for some things. We stopped at home to see how Mother felt. She is far from well. I worked till late with the regular work. A windy day. Wednesday May 20th 1903 I did the ironing this morning and Bob finished painting the house and began work on the screens. Father & Mother came out but she felt so poorly she could not eat any dinner and as it looked like a storm they went right back. It did not rain any after all. I looked after little chickens and did mending.
