Thursday May 21st 1903 It rained all forenoon. I did some baking and got the dinner. I was invited to Mrs Osbornes in the afternoon but could not go. I washed windows in the out-side from up stairs till nearly night. I was very tired and went to bed early. A fine rain. Friday May 22nd 1903 I washed windows and got the dinner. It was very warm in the afternoon and looked like rain. Fred came after Mollie. Mother is some better. I read and rested in the afternoon. Saturday May 28th 1903 I was busy all forenoon with baking and the dinner. Rob and Fredrick were out for some things. Will went to town in the afternoon and I went as far as home. It was Legrands birthday. He is nine years old and Fannie had a party for him. Mother is much better. We came home in time to do evening work. Will finished planting corn at noon. I had a letter from Lydia Mason.
