Saturday June 13th 1903 I hurried around this morning, cleaned up the house and got a nice dinner. Mother and the Holson girls were out. Had a nice visit. They could not stay late. After they were gone I did some mending. The boys finished plowing the corn first time and began crossing it. Will went to town after dinner. Millers put their cow in pasture. Sunday June 14th 1903 I rested a great part of the forenoon. We had to pick the strawberries in the afternoon. I read and wrote and did the evening work. My little chickens are so much care. Monday June 15th 1903 I had Clarence to help me work and churn. Bob Fachler began work on my new chicken house today. I went down to Fannies in the afternoon. Mother was there and Fannie thinks she will go to Willies wedding. I went on to town for some things, stopped at Woolfs a moment. Did evening work.
