Tuesday July 7th 1903 Will churned for me and I ironed. I sewed in the afternoon. The weather is much warmer. The boys are plowing corn. Wednesday July 8th 1903 I was busy with the work all forenoon. Will and I went down home and on to town in the afternoon to hear The Phinney Band concert. It was very warm. Came home to do evening work and went to bed early. Mr & Mrs Rich were visiting down home. Thursday July 9th 1903 It was cooler today. I did some baking in the morning and got things ready for dinner. I was surprised by Father & Mother coming out to spend the day. Mother appears real well. We had such a good visit. I did evening work after they went home. We sat on the porch till bed-time.
