Saturday December 30th 1899 I was busy till after dinner with baking and cleaning I am working what spare time I have mending the grain sacks that Julia washed in the fall, Luther came back this afternoon. Sunday December 31st 1899 It was a cold day spent quietly at home I did quite a little reading. I had a nice enough dinner that I sent Mrs Simpson her dinner, which she said she enjoyed.
