Thursday May 17th 1900 I was busy most of the forenoon with the work Will went to Hill Siding and drove a colt. They tried to plant corn in the afternoon but were driven in by rain. I am working on the dress what time I can get. Friday May 18th 1900 Will took the butter to town and was home for late dinner. It rained all afternoon. The boys were at work at the barn. Will read and I sewed. Saturday May 19th 1900 It rained all night and till about eight oclock this morning. Will went to town with one of the neighbors Leonard went too. Mort helped me wash. I ironed in the afternoon. Will had a chance today to sell the farm at a good profit but refused it. Sunday May 20th 1900 It was a beautiful day. Mort went away and Will and I spent the day reading and resting. Monday May 21st 1900 My little turkeys were hatching today. I looked after them and finished fixing the dress Hattie gave me. I was down to Callies a few moments late in the afternoon. It has been a fine day. Will planting corn
