Thursday September 6th 1900 Will did churning for me this morning. I got the butter ready today, put up tomatoes and baked cake and cookies in the afternoon. It has been a days work that lasted till bed-time. a letter from Fannie Friday September 7th 1900 I got up early and hurried through the work. Leonard went to help the Anderson boys thresh and Will and I took a lot of tomatoes up home. I helped put them up and do some other work. We came home in time to do the evening work. Weather cooler. Saturday September 8th 1900 I did baking and work about the house and washed and ironed a couple of dresses for myself. I wrote to Fannie The boys are cutting corn. It is twenty years today since John & Hatt were married. Sunday September 9th 1900 We got the work done and went up to Steve Swishers by invitation to dinner. We had such a nice visit Weather very warm. We came home to do evening chores. Monday September 10th 1900 Will took chickens to town and tomatoes to Mary Woolf I had churning to do put up some [pie]-plant and did a little work in the yard. Leonard still cutting corn.
