Friday January 11th 1901 Will went to town with the butter. I did sweeping, got some mail ready for the box, and washed out a few pieces. Will got home in time for dinner. The boys went up to cut out a few posts in the afternoon and I spent the afternoon with Aunt Ellen. A letter from Mother. Saturday January 12th 1901 Will went to town for the day. He was up to the farm got a couple of men engaged to work at the barn on Monday. I was busy about the house all morning and went to Mrs Henlys and Callies in the afternoon. Mort was making posts. Sunday January 13th 1901 I was busy about the work most of the forenoon. I read some. Will and I went down to Eds in the afternoon Mort went to town. Weather cold with a little snow on the ground. Monday January 14th 1901 Mort helped me wash and I got churning done before noon Aunt Ellen and Lib were down for the afternoon The boys put on two big loads of stuff to take to the farm.
