Wednesday July 3rd 1901 I helped with the work all forenoon I feel awfully tired. I sewed all afternoon for Ida. a rain this morning Thursday July 4th 1901 I sewed all forenoon and slept all afternoon. The boys were away. Very hot still. Ida and I drove down home after supper. Friday July 5th 1901 I went down town early this morning. The boys finished the hay at home. I sewed all afternoon Saturday July 6th 1901 Weather cooler. Ida and I did baking and cleaned up the house I sewed in the afternoon. Father & Mother were out and stayed till after supper. Sunday July 7th 1901 Weather very warm. I read a little in the forenoon and slept most of the afternoon. Will was about home all day as were the hired help. Monday July 8th 1901 We did washing this morning and got the dinner I sewed all the afternoon. Tuesday July 9th 1901 I went down early and Mother and I went up
