Friday July 19th 1901 I went down town early with the butter. I was at home and at Otts awhile. We had early dinner and Will went down town with me. I spent the afternoon at Otts to visit with Aunt Fannie Hepburn she went away today Dorothy has come for a visit. I let Ida stay down to go to the show tonight. Saturday July 20th 1901 We were busy with the baking all forenoon and I sewed some in the afternoon. Will got a tank and pipe to arrange for water over at the pasture. It is the hottest weather we ever had and everything is dried up. I had a letter from Laura Mason & Andrew Woolf Sunday July 21st 1901 A terrible warm day. I read some in the morning after the work was done and in the afternoon wrote to Andrew Woolf, Lizzie Lindley and Ida Cutter. Monday July 22nd 1901 We did churning this morning and got the dinner I tried to do a little sewing in the afternoon. Tuesday July 23rd 1901 I went down town early this morning with butter & eggs.
