Saturday September 7th 1901 We washed and ironed both today and got the clothes all put away. Father and Mother were out today for dinner. Will was up to the pasture in the forenoon and after dinner went to town again. Sunday September 8th 1901 We were both busy about the place all morning. In the afternoon we went down home for supper. It was 21 years since John & Hatt were married. The Ashleys were there for supper. We had a pleasant visit but had to hurry home as it rained some. Mollie came tonight Monday September 9th 1901 I took Will down town this morning to go to Delavan It was time to get dinner when I got home and in the afternoon Ida and I began to clean house. I did some painting and she took paper of the south room. Tuesday September 10th 1901 I did more painting in the forenoon and in the afternoon we finished taking the paper of the south room and began on my room. That is a very hard job. I wrote to Will in the evening Wednesday September 11th 1901 It was raining when I woke in the morning and
