Monday January 6th 1902 It was a fine day. Dell helped me wash and churn for me in the forenoon. I was busy most of the afternoon cleaning up around the house. read in evening. Tuesday January 7th 1902 I did ironing this forenoon and got a nice dinner. Will went to the timber this morning and was unfortunate enough to hurt one of his finger. We went up to see Jennie Duncan in the afternoon who is sick, she is some better. I read in the evening. Wednesday January 9th 1902. I cut out three shirts for Will and sewed on them when not busy with the work. Will was down town he is about laid up with his hurt finger. Mollie went to town tonight. Friday January 12th 1902 I serwed all the time I could possible get from the work. The weather has turned colder again. Dell has been hauling from town the two last days as the roads were hardly fit to haul wood. Floyd came for Mollie tonight.
