Wednesday March 24th, 1897 I did churning and baked bread this morning besides getting the dinner and looking after some sick chickens. Will and I went down to Eds after dinner. Mr Gregory was here in the evening Fathers birthday Thursday March 25th, 1897. I looked after the chickens some. weighed out the butter, wrote a letter to Fanny and got the dinner Will helped me put up some curtains in the afternoon and I did some extra jobs. Weather pleasant. Friday March 26th 1897. I was busy about the work most of the day but wrote letters to Vene, Lizzie Duncan & Ida what time I had to spare I was over to Aunt Lindas in the afternoon. Saturday March 27th 1897 I fixed up the things for Will to take to town. I was busy the rest of the forenoon with the work, and was over to Callies after dinner. Aunty rode over too. I read all the evening. Will saw Ott he is home from Des Moines Fanny has gone to Marshaltown as Annabel is very sick Sunday March 28th 1897 I was busy about the house all morning. Will had to look after the hogs some so we did not go to church. After dinner we went up to Uncle Georges. I read all evening. Monday March 29th 1897 The boys went up to the place for things I cleaned up the summer kitchen some, sewed a little in the afternoon. The Stevens girls called a little while they had been over to Aunt Linda's. It rained a little. Lee's birthday
