Sunday July 25th 1897 After I finished the morning work Will and I took a ride down through the fields. I got dinner when I came back and read and wrote in the afternoon while Will slept. Monday July 26th 1897 I got washing and churning done today and did all the other work. The boys are getting the bins ready for oats. Will and I drove out to see Tishie a little while in the afternoon. weather somewhat cooler. Tuesday July 27th 1897 I ironed and baked in the forenoon and in the afternoon Will took me up to Uncle Jims where we found Ida & Nellie who came back with us. did evening work. Wednesday July 28th 1897 Will took Mc-- to town this morning as his time was up. Ida did some washing and I put up blackberries. In the afternoon Will took us up to Aunt Ellens. Did evening work. The folks from below were all up for a call. Thursday July 29th 1897 Ida ironed this morning and I got things ready to take up town tomorrow. After dinner we took her and Nellie home and delivered the butter. It was very hot and dusty and the ride was so unpleasant. I got us a little supper and did other work. Friday July 30th 1897 It looked like rain this morning and we did not get started early to see the big show. I went with Will
