Wednesday September 21st 1898 I was busy all forenoon baking and getting dinner. Lee and Mother came done. I gathered some things for them to take home with them. It rained in the evening. Thursday September 22nd 1898 It rained a great part of the day. I was busy with the work. Did churning in the forenoon and put up tomatoes in the afternoon. John Mc-- was here for a little visit. Friday September 23rd 1898 Will helped me wash this morning and he and Levi went to driving the colts. I baked and ironed in the afternoon and cleaned up after the washing, practiced in the evening. Saturday September 24th 1898 Will and I went to town early with the butter. I did some errands before we went over the river for dinner. Edith is not so well again. We come home to do evening chores. Callie was here a few moments. I practiced some. apposite page. {as noted by Iowa with the pointing finger and "apposite page" the entry for Sunday September 25th 1898 appears on page 113, the next image} Monday September 26th 1898 I had churning to do and put up grapes and tomatoes so was busy most of the day. Will was in town in the morning and drove to Lone Tree in the afternoon to see about selling the hogs. Tuesday September 27th 1898 Will went t town this morning with Ed Mc-- He sold the hogs to Elliott, some at [$3.70?] and others at [$8.60?] In the afternoon him and I went up to Will Andersons to see the men about threshing. I out down a lot of eggs after I come home and did evening work.
