Thursday August 30th 1894 The Dr was out again this morning. Mother helped with the work till after an early dinner. Will took her to the fair. Robbie was out this morning and said the baby was not well so she did not come back. I was up some in the afternoon. weather warm. Friday August 31st 1894. I got up this morning when breakfast was ready and helped some with the work. Alice washed out the rest of the dirty clothes. Laura came back in the morning. In the afternoon Will & Mary Woolf and Mother, Hattie & Edith were here. I am improving fast. Saturday September 1st 1894 I helped get breakfast this morning and in fact worked most of the day. I done quite a lot of baking. Alice and I put up a big lot of apples to day. Will spent the afternoon in town. Laura stayed right here at home out of the heat & dust. Sunday September 2nd 1894. It was a hot disagreeable day. we spent the entire day at home and no one came. I read and wrote some. Alice went home awhile. Monday September 3rd 1894. Laura went in town this monring and Laura went with them. I did some baking and helped with the dinner. We spent the afternoon around the house. I began to feel better and am getting very tired of staying at home.
