Tuesday September 25th 1894 I ironed in the forenoon and got the dinner. Will and I went to town after dinner. I walked back up the street to Mrs Sawyers to attend the missionary meeting but it is not to be held until Thursday. I went back down town and got my hair cut and a new hat. [the following text is written veritically in the right margin of the above entry] Wills new man came to work. Wednesday September 26th 1894 I made some apple butter besides doing the other work. I went to town in the afternoon and was over home awhile. I did my evening work after coming home. Thursday September 27th 1894 I put up some peaches this morning besides getting the dinner. I went down town in the afternoon and was up to Mrs Sawyers for the meeting which was very pleasant. It was late when I got home. Will was plowing for the rye today. Simon was cutting corn. Friday September 28th 1894 I made peach butter and tomato catsup besides baking bread and doing the other work. I took some things down for the church dinner tomorrow and was over home awhile. I took Mother some apples. It was nearly bed tiome when my evening work was done Will finished the rye today with the grass seed. Saturday September 29th 1894 I hurried through the work and left things fixed for the boys dinner. I drove down to Annies party The cousins were there and we had a pleasant visit. It blew up stormy as I was coming home. I stopped on the way for some tomatoes. I got the supper and did up the work. Will had been to town
