For the Piles 8 Take white lead finely scraped one dram burnt Allum two ~ drams temper them with hogs Lard and plantan-water then amount ye Grieved place For the Hearing Take garden [dasie?] roots and make juyce thereof and drop 3 or 4 drops into ye best [Ear?] three or four days together. Amesbury June ye fifth 1751 a fier broke out att ye house of Rob Smiths as he was brueing, which burnt down thirty dwelling houses besides barns stables and other out houses and [ticks?]
