34. An Oyntment for Aches in yr bones or sinews yt come of cold Causes R wormwood red sage ye tender Leaves and buds of bayes and of rue. an. [measurement] chop them and beat them in a mortar very small then put mutton suet. [measurement]: beat all together then put a pint and half of neatsfoot oyl mix them together in an Earthen pot. set them in a warm oven five hours then Strain it and keep it for use anoint ye grieved place by ye fire and keep it warm [upside down text:] the Accounts Amounted to [crossed out math]
