37 For a Consumption Take the eldest cocke you can get scald him draw him and cut him in pieces and put it in a glasse pot: Stop him as fast as you can and put among these pieces Cloves mace Raisons and salt: then put this Glasse into a great pot and let all these Seethe together till they be a gelly. then straine it into a clean vessel and give it to the patient blood warme; first in ye morning and Last att night Deafenesse Take old sallet oyle of olives and - take young mice yt be naked and put them into the oyle and let them lye till they be rotten then with a Little bombast dipped in the oyle stope ye eares
