78 Medicine is proved and the party hath recovered and the sheets have been found full of blue marks and no sore hath come forth this being taken in ye beginning of ye sickness. All of this medicine saved 38 Commons of [wind?] for ye last great plague 1593 was proved upon many poor people and they recovered. A medicine for ye plague yt ye Lord Mayor had from ye Queen. Take sage elde and red bramble laves of each one a little handfull stamp and strain them together through a cloth with a quart of white wine then
