To dry up a running Sore Take a pot of Smith's water a quarter of Roach Alom a pint of the Oyl of Olives pu to it a handful of Sage boil them further till they be half Consumed then lay it to the Sore and it will dry up For the Scurvy Take Cloves and boil them in red rose-water then dry them and beat them to powder and rub the Gums with the powder and drink of the decoction in the morning fasting For a Stinking breath Take juice of rue and blackmints and snuff it up the nostrils
