The Lady Dacres medicine for the stone and [illegible] [138 [page number]] Take black bramble-berries when they be red. Ivie berries inner pith of [illegible] [illegible] Eglantine-berries ye nut [keys?] ye roots of filipendula of all these a little acorns ye stones of sloes of each a like quantity but not so much as half of ye others. dry them in platters in an Oven. and beat them to powder. then take Cromel-Seed Anniseed Saxifrage Alexanders parsley Corianders fennel-seeds. of Each of these ye like quantity of ye first beat all together to fine powder. take Liquorish Scraped as much in quantity as all these beat it fine mingle it with ye Powder keep it close from wind use it morning and Evening with [illegible] ale with lime of ye [mount?] boiled in it.
