142 To Help Deafness Take a piece of Rye dough the bigness of an egg and of yt fashion bake it dry in an oven cut of ye end and with a knife cut out ye post and make it hollow then put into it a little Aqua Comosita and stir it and so hot as you can indure in apply it to ye deaf ear till it be cold you must keep youre head very warm if both ears be grieved make two of them and use them three times.
