For Sinewes that are Shrunk. Take young swallows out of ye nest a dozen. Rosemary lavender strawberry leaves strings and all of each a handfull after the quantity of the swallows the feathers guts and all bray them in a morter and fry them all together with may butter not too much. Then put it into an earthen pot and stop it close nine days then fry it againe with may butter and fry it well and strain it well case it on ye part against ye fire. In ye year 1744 harvis was not don [illegible] Collingborne till December the 18th.
