Sixpence make them to ponder and mix them with ye rest then compound therewith five simples of unicorns horn or for want thereof harts horn and tak as much weight as all these fine pouders come to. Take fine triacle and stamp it with ye pouders in a morter untill all be well mixt and hang to ye pestle andthen it is perfectly made then ut ye electuary in a stone pot well sealed and so it will continue twenty or thirty years, the longer the better. How to use this electuary - first when one is in feeted with the pestilence let him take so soon as he can before ye desease infect the heart one crown weight in gold gold
