with ye pithe and Stones taken out two ounces of sun raisins stoned a Large mace. let all these boil togethe till half be Consumed then take out ye Cock and beat ye flesh in a clean Morter with a little of ye broth then strain it through a hair Cullender then put in two spoonfuls of red rose water and Sweeten it with white-Shugar-candy. drink of this broth warm half a pint in ye morning and att three a clock in ye afternoon. it is very good for a Consumtion. A Strengthening meat Take potatoroots roast them or bake them then peel them and slice them into a dish put to it lumps of raw-marrow and a few Currants a little hold mace and Sweeten it with Sugar and so eat it.
