An Excellent diet drink for ye Evill Take four ounces of goacum wood to ounces of sasafar wood half an ounce of licquorish mugwort butchers broom of each handfull boyle all these in four gallons of ale and at 6 days old drink of it morning noone and night as long as ye drink laste. To cure a gangreen bake a handfull of polipodium roots of ye oake pounds small and mixked with white wine vinegar then put to it wheat flower & apply poultis wise but if this dost not pound too handfulls of red Robin or ranblewort and ad to ye poultice this will cure any gangrene yt can be cured.
