For a pain in ye Stomach. Cut a piece of new Scarlet in ye Shape of a heart put it in a pewter-dish and wet it with ye Strongest Cinnamon or wormwood water then Set it on a Chafing dish of coals and cover it close and when it is dry wet it again which do so often untill ye sent of ye hot water be strong in it. Lay it very hot to ye stomach and and renew it once or twice in a week
