35th Tuesday March 12th 1872 Mother and Hatt did a washing today I was sewing on those skirts. When we were at dinner Mrs Middleton came in She stayed all the afternoon. I laid aside my sewing pretty early and helped about the supper A rather pleasant sort of a day Went to bed early. Wednesday March 13th 1872 Mother went to town this morning and then down to Mrs Sperrys visiting I finished those shirts got the dinner and was all the afternoon doing my share of the ironing as I had some skirts to do up. Mrs Temple was here awhile in the afternoon Had a letter from Flo today answered it this morning. Hattie was out to the farther school house today Thursday March 14th 1872 Had a letter from Lou Reeves Went to town real early this morning was into the store and got Flo a piece of butter scotch Mr H_ was not there he had gone down to West Liberty on the four oclock train I mailed my letter and Then went down to Wildes bought material for me a new dress took it down to Mrs Ogle to get it cut and fit. I will get her to make the waist for
